Did you know?

The oldest living thing in existence is not a giant redwood, but a bristlecone pine in the White Mountains of California, dated to be aged 4,600 years old.

The parlour palm is a graceful miniature palm with soft feather shaped fern-like fronds. It is the ideal size and well suited to modern interiors. Graceful soft fern-like fronds with thin leaflets.

For over a century the parlour palm has enjoyed a place in the British home. A low growing palm (up to a metre high) that is very tough, it will tolerate a lot of abuse, but with a small amount of care will thrive. A plant that requires little water.

A small growing palm with soft delicate foliage usually planted in a clump. Ideal as a table top plant. Placed either side of a kentia in a rectangle planter, the combination creates a nice screen.
